Goals of the Social Media Associate Internship
- To educate students in current and emerging business practices of the motion picture industry
- To create strategic local, state and national educational partnerships with industry
- To create effective incentives and opportunities for interns
- To provide motion picture business leadership in the State of Florida
- To create a culture of cinema appreciation through community interaction in the State of Florida
We are seeking a social media / marketing intern for the Fall of 2013
- We are looking for someone creative, dynamic, motivated and experienced throughout the social media world to help promote and drive our movie titles.
- We need someone to be active and imaginative with the marketing tools that are available to them and continue to source new sites for given titles and projects.
- This internship is ideally suited for students studying marketing, film or anyone highly skilled with social media and web.
- If you are an avid user of facebook, twitter, instagram, reddit and all other social media platforms then you are the type of person we are looking for.
You will learn working with a wide range of movie’s including everything from documentaries, narrative features, foreign art house titles and theatrical releases, to our in house productions.
We require a minimum of 20 hours a week, but we do have full time and option to work from home on a daily basis. Please send current resume and breakdown of your social media traction (i.e. number of Facebook friends, Twitter followers, etc.)
*THIS IS A NON PAID INTERNSHIP. YOU MUST BE CURRENTLY ENROLLED FOR AN UNDERGRAD OR MASTERS DEGREE FROM AN ACCREDITED UNIVERSITY. WE ALSO ACCEPT STUDENTS WHO HAVE RECENTLY GRADUATED UP TO A YEAR.
